We had self directed all day and I worked and polished up my task 2, I had to do some research into what the little mermaid had been adapted into different operas and I was surprised at how little it had been adapted for the stage because it’s such a well known story, however you have to think about how would they make the “mermaids” swim so in theory it would be very difficult to put on to the stage that’s why there are so many animated versions.
For the rest of the day I read more of “An Intervention” ad so far I cannot seem to find a monologue that isn’t dark, however I am only half way through so I need to keep looking.
